Data on all aspects of a business or government operation are now ubiquitous and available to those entities. If analyzed properly, these data will reflect how the business or government agency operates and how well that process conforms to the expected operation. This opens the door to new modes of manufacturing and production that may in the future become quite useful or even necessary. The opportunities and challenges for these new modes will be discussed.
