With the increased likelihood of more extreme weather events, such as Hurricanes, in North Carolina and along the East Coast, preparation, planning, and effective response have become quite important. We will present results from two papers that are about to be published on simulation, visual analysis, and situationally aware response for these large scale disasters. There will be time for discussion.
