We discuss our work on analyzing patent texts, and our first steps in commercializing this work. We have developed a provably best semantic analysis solutions in the field. Patent pending, Mined Semantic Analysis (MSA) is perhaps the world’s first domain tunable, visual and interactive cognitive assistant. An initial web demonstration (research implementation) of our conceptual search technology is currently available in the domain of Innovation Analysis and Technology Licensing Prospecting. Our current work is supported by an NSF I-corps grant. While customer discovery is still in progress, the team is engaged in this customer discovery and pilot engagements with companies to develop some of the use cases mentioned above. This talk will discuss the underlying science, present a demo, and discuss our experience in the I-corps project.
