IEEE VIS is the largest gathering of visualization and visual analytics scientists in the world with multiple conferences during the week-long event. This year VIS was held in Paris and hosted innovative research and application papers by participants from Europe, Asia, and the U.S. Tom Polk will lead discussion of several papers from the conference he found most interesting.
